The consumers association has criticised 22 hospitals for refusing to give patients small change so they can borrow coin-operated wheelchairs, the Telegraaf reports.


Of the 116 hospitals investigated, 80 ask patients to pay a deposit for a wheelchair, like a supermarket trolley system. In 22 hospitals there was a no change policy, the paper says.
