Holland toughest on family reunification
The Netherlands has the toughest rules in Europe for non-EU family reunifications, according to the European Commission.
The required salary level of €1,484 a month is the highest in the EU, the Commission said. In addition, the cost of bringing each family member to the Netherlands – €1368 – is extremely high compared with the €50 to €150 cost in most other countries, the paper quoted Brussels as saying.
