Eindhoven airport to grow despite eco-tax

Eindhoven airport says it expects the number of passengers to grow by 4% to 1.6 million this year despite the government’s new environmental tax on plane tickets, which came into effect this summer, ANP news agency reports.

Eindhoven, which is Holland’s biggest regional airport, attributed the increase to the introduction of new services to Valencia in Spain and the Swedish capital Stockholm.
