Eastern European workers up 60%
There were 94,000 people from eastern Europe working in the Netherlands by the end of June, an increase of 60% on 2007, says the national statistics office CBS.
Some 85% of these workers are Polish nationals. Almost 50% of all eastern European workers are aged under 30 and work for a staffing agency, the CBS says.
