Court dismisses PKK charges
Den Bosch court on Wednesday dismissed terrorism charges against 16 alleged members of the militant Kurdish separatist movement PKK.
The 16 were among 39 people arrested at suspected training camp in the south of the Netherlands in 2004.
The court threw out the case because the Turkish authorities would not allow lawyers to interview witnesses face to face, the NRC reports. This made it impossible to hold a fair trial, the paper quoted the judges as saying.
