Avoid Halloween say Urk clergy
Eighteen clergymen in the strongly religious fishing village of Urk have written to their local paper urging locals not to get involved in Halloween celebrations on October 31, the Telegraaf reports.
Halloween is ‘playing with God’s arch enemy’ and ‘based on the rituals of heathen religions’, the ministers say.
