Arson acounts for almost half outdoor fires
Almost half of the 31,000 outdoor fires attended by the fire brigade last year were caused by arson, says the national statistics office CBS.
The number of indoor fires reached almost 15,000, the highest figure in 10 years, says the national statistics office CBS. Some 20% were caused by faulty or wrongly-used equipment.
