UK common destination for ‘kidnapped’ kids

The Dutch international kidnapping monitor dealt with 112 cases last year involving a total of 165 children, the justice ministry said on Tuesday.

The majority (74) of the cases involved children being taken out of the Netherlands. These usually involved the mother taking her child to another country in western Europe. Britain was the most popular destination.
