Smit rejects Boskalis takeover offer
Maritime services group Smit International has rejected a takeover bid by the dredging firm Boksalis, saying it undervalues the company.
Boksalis offered €1.1bn (€62.40 per share) for Smit on Monday.
Smit’s supervisory board has decided that talks with Boskalis are ‘not in the interests of the company’
