Shell to return to Rotterdam
Shell has commissioned real estate group DTZ Zadelhoff to find a new 13,000 square metre office complex in Rotterdam, 10 years after the company pulled out of the city, the AD reports on Friday.
The paper says that Shell Downstream is looking for the new property, where 1,100 workers will be located from 2010 or 2011.
‘Rotterdam is a major port. As a big petroleum player, Shell belongs here,’ a city council spokesman told the AD.
