Schuitema slashes 140 jobs
Dutch supermarket group Schuitema is to slash some 140 jobs from its logistics division which employs a total of 640 people.
The move follows the sale of 58 stores to the Ahold group in April. In return, Ahold sold its 73% stake in Schuitema to British private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
Schuitema operates the C1000 stores.
