Schiphol ‘interested’ in Glasgow airport
The Schiphol airport group has a ‘definite interest’ in buying Glasgow airport if the British competition authority forces it’s sale, the Glasgow Herald newspaper reports.
Last month the UK competition watchdog said the British Airport Authority’s ownership of airports in the central belt of Scotland was bad for customers, airlines and passengers. A final ruling on the potential sell-off is due next year.
The paper said Schiphol would also look at Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports if they are to be sold.
