The two foundations set up to lobby on behalf of people who lost out because their investment-based savings policies were subject to huge fees have each received a €1m pay-out from Delta Lloyd, news agency ANP reports.

The cash is to compensate the foundation for the work it has done in reaching a settlement between the insurance company and investors. Last week Delta Lloyd became the first company to reach a deal with the foundations on compensating savers.
