Retail group Maxeda raises turnover
Retail group Maxeda, which owns the V&D, Bijenkorf and Praxis chains, booked turnover of €1.56bn in the first six months of this year, up 1.2% on the year-earlier period.
Maxeda said that most of its retail formats won market share. The number of outlets rose 7.5% to 1,379 in total, most of which are in the Netherlands.
