Printing group takeover flops

The takeover of the Netherlands biggest printing company Roto Smeets de Boer by an investment house has been abandonned because its potential new owner has failed to raise the necessary capital.

HHBV offered €40 a share for RSDB in June, valuing the company at €131m.
RSDB said in a statement that it was ‘disappointed’ but would press ahead with its strategy of further consolidation in the printing industry.
