Huge fines for home nursing cartel
The Dutch competition authority NMa has fined five home nursing organisations between €4m and €600,000 for illegal cartel forming, NOS tv reports.
The NMa said the cartel limited patient choice. But sector organisation Actiz said the ruling put care organisations in an impossible position because the government wants them to work together more.
Actis said it was shocked by the size of the fines. It is the first time healthcare companies have been fined by the NMa.
