Holland benefits most from EU market:: CPB

The internal EU market generates extra income of between €1,500 and €2,200 a year for every Dutch citizen, according to a report by the government’s economic policy think-tank CPB, reports NRC Next.


In fact the Netherlands profits the most from the EU, with 18% of its exports and 12% of imports a direct consequence of the single market, says the CPB. The average for the other member states is 8%.
