Family doctors hard to get hold of
Some 40% of phone calls to family doctors go unanswered for at least 10 minutes, according to research by health inspectors and patients’ organisations.
On top of this, 25% of calls to doctors’ emergency numbers go unanswered. The family doctors’ association told NOS tv it was aware of the problem which could only be solved by spending more money.
