DSM raises profit forecast again

Chemicals concern DSM said profit before interest payments and tax would this year be between €1.025bn and €1.075bn.

This compares with the €970m forecast in July, which in itself was a significant increase on its original operating profit forecast at the start of the year.
DSM said the latest raise reflected the higher sales prices on the vitamin and artificial fertiliser markets.
