Diplomats withdrawn in Morocco spy case
Morocco withdrew two diplomats from The Hague in connection with the row over a senior police officer who is alleged to have spied for Morocco, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday.
The paper says the two were not senior staff at the embassy and were withdrawn after the Netherlands complained about ‘detrimental practises’.
Other media sources do not make it clear when the diplomats were recalled.
MPs are to hold an emergency debate on the affair next week. The Telegraaf says other Moroccan nationals are also known to have been approached to work for the Moroccan secret service.
