Deputy PM deplores ‘crude’ debates

The standard of debate in parliament is becoming increasingly crude, says deputy prime minister and leader of the orthodox Christian party ChristenUnie André Rouvoet.


In a book looking back at his party’s first 18 months in government, Rouvoet says it is ‘not only the [anti-immigration] PVV and Rita Verdonk who are guilty of vulgar populism’.
