Councils given year for cemetry guidelines

MPs have given local councils a year to come up with proper guidelines for clearing cemeteries and dealing with human remains, news agency ANP reports.

Pressure on land and lack of financial support from families mean that many cemeteries clear graves after 10 years. Bones are often thrown into a communal pit.
