Chinese central bank invests in Unilever
The Chinese central bank has acquired a 0.8% stake in the Anglo-Dutch food-to-detergents concern Unilever, reports Britain’s Sunday Telegraph.
According to the paper’s research, the Chinese central bank has a total of £9bn invested in British-listed firms including Anglo-Dutch energy giant Shell and Royal Bank of Scotland, one of the new owners of Dutch bank ABN Amro.
