Spijker Cars ups production
Luxury sport car maker Spijker, produced 22 vehicles in the second quarter of the year, up from 12 in the first quarter, writes ANP news agency.
The increase was financed by a capital injection from Lithuania’s Snoras Bank.
The company’s losses fell from nearly €30m in the first half of 2007 to just under €9m in the same period this year.
Spijker says its financial situation will improve even more in the second half when its newest model, the C8 Aileron, will start to roll from the assembly line.
