Financial services group SNS Reaal booked earnings of €226m in the first six months of this year, down 3.8% on the 2007 first half.
‘Given the continuing unrest on the financial markets, the downward share market, limited access to liquidity and rising interest rates… SNS’s performance is pleasing,’ CEO Sjoerd van Keulen said in a statement.
