Sex industry boss Charles Geert, who sold 18 buildings with red light district windows to a housing corporation for €25m earlier this year, still has 11 properties in the area which are used for the sex industry, the NRC reported on Saturday.

At the time of the sale, which involved city council cash, it was assumed that Geert had cut all ties with the area.
