Seven kg of onions peeled in 10 minutes
The new Dutch onion peeling champion is Hubert Waterman from Emmeloord. Waterman peeled seven kilograms of onions in 10 minutes at the national championships in Lelystad on Thursday, reports ANP news service.
‘I knew I was good at it. I had a job peeling onions as a school kid and it seems I haven’t forgotten how to do it,’ he is quoted as saying after the competition.
