Samir A. appeal reopens the ‘bunker’

Amsterdam’s high security court in Osdorp, which has been renovated and fortified, reopens on Tuesday with the appeal by convicted terrorist Samir A, reports ANP news service.


The building, known as the ‘bunker’, has been closed for several months while electronic security devices and a secure witness cabin have been added. The cells underneath the court have also been extended and modernised.
Samir A. is currently serving eight years imprisonment on suspicion of attempting to procure heavy firearms and planning terrorist attacks.
