People who want to buy a second-hand car should be able to check themselves if it was stolen through an internet list of chassis numbers, says transport minister Camiel Eurlings.
Thieves find it more difficult to commit fraud with chassis numbers than actual number plates, the Telegraaf, which carries the story, says.
