Sandra Roelofs, the Dutch wife of Georgia’s president Mikhail Saakashvili, is not welcome at the funeral of journalist Stan Storimans on Wednesday, a spokesman for the family told RTL television on Monday night.

He said the family did not doubt her sincerity, but did not want the extra security which the presence of a president’s wife from a war zone would bring.
Storimans, a tv cameraman for RTL, was killed in a Russian bombardment in the Georgian city of Gori last Wednesday.
