Lightning causes €900,000 damage in The Hague
An apartment complex in The Hague was evacuated on Thursday after a fire broke out when the building was hit by lightning, reports ANP news service.
No one was hurt in the incident. The fire brigade says that around €900,000 worth of damage has been caused to the building on Benoordenhoutseweg.
A house in the northern province of Groningen was also hit by lightning during the thunder storms on Thursday morning.
