The shareholders lobby group VEB has not yet acquired enough support to call for an extraordindary shareholders meeting at financial services group Fortis, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Monday.

At least 10% of shareholders must come forward, but the big institutional investors are not giving their support, the paper says.
Fortis has planned an ‘information session’ on August 18 to answer questions about recent events at the company.
