New national football coach Bert van Marwijk made his international debut on Wednesday night with a 1-1 draw against Russia in Moscow.


Robin van Persie scored the Dutch goal in the 24th minute. Russia equalised 12 minutes before the end of ordinary time.
The match was part of the Dutch preparations for the World Cup qualifier against Macedonia next month.
