‘Camera man killed by cluster bomb’

The death of Dutch camera man Stan Storimans earlier this week was caused by a Russian attack with a cluster bomb, according to Human Rights Watch in a statement on Friday.

The organisation claims it has proof that Russia used cluster bombs in residential areas of Georgia and that one of the bombs launched at the city of Gori on Tuesday killed RTL journalist Storimans and seven others.
In May this year over a hundred countries signed a convention banning cluster bombs. But the major producers of the bombs, including Russia, were not at the meeting.
