Yugoslavia tribunal clears Naser Oric
The Yugoslavia war crimes tribunal in The Hague has found Bosnian Muslim army chief Naser Oric not guilty on appeal of failing to stop his subordinates killing Bosnian Serbs in 1993.
Oric was sentenced to two years in jail at his original trial in 2006. The tribunal said the evidence against him was ‘vague and unconvincing,’ the NRC reported.
