Young teens guilty of terrorising children

Six children aged between 12 and 15 have been sentenced to community service for terrorising two children aged eight and 11, the public prosecution department said on Thursday.

The victims and their mother reported the case to the police at the beginning of this year. Evidence of the attacks was found on computers and mobile phones belonging to the gang.
The public prosecutor said the case was so serious it had been decided to take the attackers to court, which is rare with juvenile offenders. The six were also put on probation for two years.
