Tour operator goes under, 2,000 hit
Some 2,000 people who had booked to go to Turkey with Sun Travel have had their holidays cancelled because the company is on the verge of bankruptcy, RTL news reports on Thursday.
The Sun Travel website simply refers holidaymakers to the holiday guarantee fund SGR for further information. Some 250 people currently in Turkey will be brought home, SGR said.
The Maastricht-based company also trades as Toursa Touristic and Turkije Last Minute.
