Sleep in the canteen, Poles told

The chairman of Centraal Gelderland chamber of commerce is supporting a pallet factory’s application to allow Polish and other foreign workers to sleep in the company canteen, newspaper Tubantia reports.

Gert-Jan Oplaat says the move would solve the shortage of accommodation.
The local council opposes the plan and says there is no shortage of suitable housing for foreign workers in the area.
