No progress on child porn website block

Efforts to block websites distributing child pornography in the Netherlands have not led to any sites being blacked out so far, news agency Novum reports on Wednesday.

According to RTL news, talks between the police and internet providers have now been stopped.
Internet providers are worried about getting massive damages claims if sites are wrongly blocked and police can not give guarantees they won’t make mistakes about a site’s content, RTL said, quoting a draft justice ministry report.
