The Dutch employment rate was stable at 4% between April and June, the national statistics office CBS said on Thursday. Year on year, the official jobless rate has fallen from 4.6%, the CBS says.
The number of people registered as jobseekers at the CWI government employment agencies is now 420,000, or 5.5% of the working population, news agency ANP reported. The number of people who have been looking for work for over one year fell by 2.6% to 266,000.
