Industrial growth reaches three-year low

Dutch industrial growth reached its lowest level in three years in June, according to the latest purchasing managers’ index.

The index reached 51.1 points in June, down from 51.5 in May. In particular the number of orders from abroad has fallen for the first time in 10 years, news agency ANP reported.
The strong euro, competition from China and eastern Europe and declining economic growth were cited as the main reasons.
