Huntelaar ‘still has a contract’
Ajax coach Marco van Basten told a pre-season news conference on Monday that he expected striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar would remain with the Amsterdam team this season.
‘He still has a contract. It would not be desirable for him to leave,’ news agency ANP reported new coach Van Basten as saying. A number of European clubs are reportedly after Huntelaar.
