Some 48% of Dutch holidaymakers are still busy with their jobs while on holiday and 9% carry on working as normal, according to research by jobs site Monsterboard.nl.

One in five Dutch workers say they are contactable in an emergency and over 18% still look at corporate email, the Telegraaf reported.
