Dutch food is less fattening
Manufacturers of food products are using far fewer saturated fats and less salt and sugar in their products, according to figures from the Ik Kies Bewust (conscious choice) foundation.
Since the foundation’s tick logo was introduced on food two years ago, the number of food producers taking part has tripled and the number of products which qualify for the logo has risen from 350 to 2,700.
