Amsterdam football club Ajax has made an offer for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ismaïl Aissati, PSV manager Adrie van Kraaij said at a news conference on Monday.

Aissati (19) did not play much last season and his position this year may be affected by this year’s Olympic games in Beijing. If Aissati is selected, he will miss much of the pre-season preparation, news agency ANP says.
His contract with PSV expires next year, but talks are under way on extending it to 2012.
