Between 400 and 800 jobs are to go at Dutch publishing group Wegener, reports Tuesday’s Financieele Dagblad.
That is 10% to 20% of the total workforce, although there is uncertainty about the final figure, says the paper. Wegener is joint owner of the AD and publishes a number of regional papers.
According to CFO Koos Boot the reorganisation plans will not be finalised until the company has found a new CEO. Wegener has been looking for a CEO since Jan Houwert left the position at the beginning of May
