Pay rise level concerns employers
The average pay rise of 3.25% agreed in the 2008 pay and conditions deals sealed so far this year is ‘worrying’, says employers organisation AWVN.
It means pay is rising faster than productivity increases. However, the increasing focus on flexibility is hopeful, the organisation says.
