Honorary doctorate for Gerrit Zalm
Former minister Gerrit Zalm received an honorary doctorate on Monday from Amsterdam’s VU university for his contribution to the renewal of Dutch budget policy, reports news service ANP.
Zalm was finance minister between 1994 and 2002 and again from 2003 until 2007.
