Hairdresser ordered to pay compensation
Judges have ordered a hairdresser to pay compensation to a member of staff who has developed the allergic skin disease eczema because not enough had been done to minimise the risk.
The case was brought by the FNV union, which says between 30% and 50% of hairdressing staff suffer skin problems from salon chemicals.
