Clampdown planned on football betting
The justice ministry is to make extra checks on illegal betting on the outcome of this month’s Euro 2008 football championship, the Telegraaf reports on Tuesday.
The Dutch state has a monopoly on gambling and betting is only allowed through its Lotto organisation.
